As you probably guessed, all those plural pronouns on the home page of this site are somewhat ambitious. For now (and now may be a long, long time), it's just me, Don, the sole practitioner at Don Hess Consulting. Didn't you think the use of "we" made the intro page sound a little more impressive? Well, I did. My bad.

Whatever the case, if you would like to help pay the salaries of a receptionist, design team and IT department, you are at the wrong web site, my friend. When you hire me I will be working on your project single-handedly. There won't be an account rep to shake hands with or a design prima donna to snort when you ask if the font size couldn't be increased just a smidge. Your project will be done on time, on budget, and at a cost that's probably lower than you'd think. And when it is done you will be proud of it, because that is what you paid for, and I will be proud of it because I need you as a reference. There's a lot of motivation in being small.
